Recently, nine members of GATU attended the annual South Eastern Rendezvous for Trout Unlimited. This year, the event was held in Nashville Tennessee, “Music Capital of the World!” Cohutta Chapter Past President and Current GATU Council Chairman, Rodney Tumlin, was a presenter at this year’s gathering. His topic was Trout Camp and other TU youth education programs. Saturday evening, Trout Unlimited CEO, Chris Wood was the Keynote speaker. Georgia TU received a lot of recognition from Chris for the ongoing work we are doing for cold-water conservation in our state. All of the attendees came away inspired to put into practice what they had learned from the various breakout sessions and networking with members from other southern states.
